Vintage modernist sterling silver owl brooch with big eyes and oxidised finish to the face and central body area.  It has a pin and rollover C clasp closure to the rear.The brooch measures approximately 4 cm x 2.3 cm. Weight is 11 grams. It is in very good condition with small signs of wear commensurate with age. Estimated to date from the 1960's. This brooch is unsigned but is very much in the style of Frances Holmes Boothby.  It arrived in a batch with other rare brooches by Frances Holmes Boothby which can be found here and here
